Partners
This network is grounded in institutional partnership with a focus on tertiary level research institutions attached to teacher-training universities in the participating countries. These partner institutions work under the scientific and technical coordination of ERNWACA (Educational Research Network for West And Central Africa, Djénéba Traoré, Regional Coordinator), and the Université de Montréal (Professor Thierry Karsenti, Canada Research Chair on ICT and Education).
Please consult ERNWACA's PanAfrican Research Agenda on the Pedagogical Integration of ICTs web portal at www.panaf-edu.org.
Since its inception the PanAf Observatory has been joined by external partner organisations including infoDev, whose mandate is to help maximize the impact of ICTs in global efforts to achieve the internationally-supported Millennium Development Goals; and the UNESCO Institute for Statistics, whose objectives include gathering a wide range of quality statistical information to help member states analyze the efficiency and effectiveness of their programmes and to inform their policy decisions.
